Peggy Cowles, a 1960 graduate of Alvaton High School, has spent her adult life as a crusader for education. Ayers is a pillar of the Warren County community and has served Warren Central High School in many capacities over the years as a football coach, member of the Warren Central Youth Services Advisory Board, and most recently as a member of the Warren Central College Board Academy. He then earned a Doctor of Ministry with Distinction from Drew University in 2000. Ayers attended Western Kentucky University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 1987 before graduating from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990 with a Master of Divinity. Doctor Stephen Ayers, a 1982 graduate of Warren Central High School, is the highly respected pastor of one of Kentucky’s largest and most diverse congregations. The 2016 WCPS Hall of Distinguished Alumni class: This year’s representatives have an impressive list of accomplishments in business, medicine, military, education, law, and entertainment. This ceremony brings the total number of inductees to forty-eight. Warren County Public Schools will induct ten outstanding individuals into its Hall of Distinguished Alumni at the annual induction dinner on Apat the Sloan Convention Center.
